Nutrient testing
You are what you eat.
We all know the importance of diet for health. Whether it is blood sugar, cholesterol, vitamin deficiencies, or other issues, getting the right nutrition is imperative to healthy aging.
Eating a rainbow, eating whole foods, avoiding processed and fat food, and avoiding sugary drinks is well known. But doing a screening test to see where you may be deficient in your diet is very helpful. If you aren’t deficient in magnesium or B12, you don’t need those supplements.
We go beyond just D and B12 (though we think those are important). Our micronutrient test looks at 31 vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, antioxidants, and metabolites. Get a baseline to see where your diet and body is deficient.
Be strategic. Test. Evaluate. Then treat.

TEST OPTIONS
Nutrition is a cornerstone to health. You get nutrients through diet and endogenous (your body) production. Some vitamins and minerals are fat soluble, so they are stored in the body, and some are not. Having too much of a vitamin can cause health issues. You need different amounts of each of these. There are some vitamins which you need incredibly little of, and some which you need more. Do you have any medications or health issues? Many diabetics are deficient in D and B12. Metformin can affect B12 levels.
- TEST to see what you are actually deficient in. Don’t take supplements blindly.
- QUALITY is important. Our supplements at Biohackr Health adhere to the highest quality standards and are third party tested (NSF) and produced in accredited facilities. We research and find the best sources so you can trust our products and know exactly what you are getting.

VITAMIN D
Many Americans are deficient in Vitamin D. Vitamin D levels contribute to overall health, with D level correction shown in studies objectively to lower morbidity and mortality. You get Vitamin D naturally through sunlight and diet (fish, liver, eggs). Vitamin D benefits:
- Bone Health: It helps your body absorb calcium, which is essential for strong bones and teeth.
- Immune System Support: It plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy immune system, helping your body fend off infections and diseases.
- Mood Regulation: There’s some evidence suggesting that Vitamin D can help improve mood and ward off depression.
- Heart Health: Some studies indicate that Vitamin D may contribute to heart health by supporting normal blood pressure and cardiovascular function.
- Muscle Function: It helps improve muscle strength, reducing the risk of falls and fractures in the elderly.
- Anti-Inflammatory Properties: It has anti-inflammatory effects, which can help in managing conditions like arthritis.
Biohackr Health offers correction of low levels through IV and oral supplements.

VITAMIN B12
B12 levels are important. When low you may see neuropathy, pernicious anemia, tiredness, weakness, lightheadedness, headaches, loss of appetite, joint pain, muscle weakness, memory issues, and brain fog.
Deficiency is seen in:
- Impaired gastric absorption
- Older-aged people with low stomach acid
- People on acid blockers
- Those who have had bypass surgery
- Metformin users can have deficiency, seen in 30%
- Vegetarians and vegans
We at Biohackr Health can help you supplement with IVs. For more B12 facts, read our blogs

MICRONUTRIENT TEST
This is a gold standard, and we strongly recommend everyone do this test at least once to see where they stand. It tests 31 vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, antioxidants, and metabolites and how they affect cellular function. Correlating micronutrient deficiencies not only slows aging and degenerative disease progression, it can also prevent and repair cellular dysfunction and disease.
