The pressure waves “penetrate” tissue to promote the activation of metabolic processes and connective tissue and to stimulate tissue repair and regeneration. It is completely non-invasive – no needles and no incisions – and has no side effects. Treatments take less than 15 minutes. Therapy involves a one or two treatments per week over the course of one to eight weeks. Depending on the treatment area, effects can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. Some clients will receive treatment one time, while others may seek treatment bi-annually or annually.
