Screening tests
Find what YOUR issues are. Many doctors’ annual visits do the minimum of blood testing. They may not be proactive. They may just test for LDL and HDL, not looking deeper into other cholesterol numbers like Apo-B and lipoprotein a. You may know what you have increased risk for from family history and genetics, but you need to get a baseline and broad screen.
When starting on your biohacking journey, you cannot throw all your energy into all directions. You need to figure out what your issues are, and screening tests are great for that. If your HbA1c is normal, that indicates you have good insulin sensitivity and glucose control. You don’t need to follow that closely or do a continuous glucose monitor. But you may find your liver function tests are slightly elevated. Why? Fatty liver? Alcohol intake? A medication or herbal you are taking?
The tests listed here are blood test screening. There are other screens for individual issues (like cancer, Alzheimer’s risk). There are also non blood tests which can screen for health, like cardiac calcium scans and VO2 max.

TEST OPTIONS
We created benchmark screens thoughtfully. These are lab tests drawn in clinic and sent to the corresponding accredited labs for analysis. We will then review the labs with you to figure out next steps. If you need more advanced advice or treatments, we have doctors and a medical team set up for telehealth visits.
